Just had an evening meal as we were staying elsewhere. The set meal was very good and the waitress service equaled the food ?. Shame that no Dijon mustard/French mustard was available and I was a bit surprised that there was a surcharge of £4 for having steak on the "set" menu. Prices for the beer should be made known when ordering drinks.Food & drinks: The food was well prepared but I was a little disappointed that only one meagre over cooked mushroom accompanied the steak and chips.

Stayed in Birmingham South Hall Green, to visit B'ham uni next day. Got there late- lovely welcome from Steve on the front desk, chatting and checking we had what we needed, good night's sleep too - surprisingly quiet. For my teenager and myself, great first impression that set her up for a positive uni visit the following day:-)

Lovely clean room in hotel close to where our daughter lives. Curtains a little worn so loses a star. Extra pillows/towels and toiletries in bathroom welcome extras. We have stayed before and will use again. Recommended.

Excellent service from Rachel and the manger laura on reception, they moved us to a ground floor room as requested, fantastic knowledge of surrounding areas and booked my family a table for dinner at the restaurant as soon as possible as we were super hungry. Excellent food, steak cooked to perfection.Rooms: Rooms spotless

Typical Premier Inn. You know what you will get. The stand out here is the staff, who are really friendly. We used the meeting rooms here. They are a great size and well equipped.

Great place for mid trip stop. Room fine with lots of parking. No us plug so jets which made me smile as only premier inn without them!

Lovely stay at this Premier Inn. We were visiting family and needed somewhere to stay overnight. I had rung reservations number and asked for rooms close together and on the ground floor due to my father in law needing support. When we arrived the message hadn’t reached the hotel, but a lovely lady called Rachel sorted everything for us in just a few minutes. Friendly, excellent service.

We were given a quiet room on our second stay as requested and we slept well on our one night stay. Access to rooms upstairs can be quite creaky so it is advisable to be booked away from that main access door to the first floor. Breakfast was very good, both cooked and continental options.

Visited Sunday 3rd to Tuesday 5th September for our first ever visit to a Premier Inn. We enjoyed it so much that we will certainly be back. Booking was easy online and when we arrived, Laura at reception was very friendly and helpful. Jane from housekeeping was also very friendly and sociable. Both are to be complimented.

I had an accessible room on 5/8/23. There was a terrible smell (bathroom drains?) No staff in reception or I would have complained on my way through to dinner. Disabled parking was good, but the rooms were quite a walk through a rabbit warren of corridors. A friend booked 3 rooms initially and despite me giving all details of the booking, they still have not responded other than to say they cannot find the booking and that has taken a month! Not up to usual standards expected of Premier Inn.

Arrived for 3 night stay only had us down as one. Didn't ask if breakfast was to be added on. Payment taken without asking and put into overdraft. Must of been elephants living in the room above. 2 nights of no sleep with massive lorries parked right outside our bedroom. Not willing to offer anything as way of an apology! Customer services useless.

Although the hotel website says “Look out of your window … and you'll see countryside all around you. In fact you'll be surprised by just how green the Black Country really is”, my room unfortunately looked straight onto a brick wall (see photo). Worse, it was right over the hot water plant (second photo), which puffed and whirred away for about 3 minutes every 10 minutes right through the night. However, for my second night, the reception team let me move to another quieter room. Although the rooms are window-opening rather than AC (my choice), the rooms and corridors did “run warm”, perhaps due to insulation of the building and hot water pipes. Breakfast was great – the hot was to order rather than buffet style and the Beefeater a bit cavernous, but the team were delightful and the food excellent.
