Went in for quick lunch before work, the service was prompt and staff were pleasing. The food was delicious, fish is perfect, classic chips. not to mention the plates and cutlery which are easier to utilise compared to their heavier counterparts. Fish and chips, can of coke just a little shy of 7 quid but it is what it is.
Honestly the best chippy I have had in years. Having recently moved into the area we discovered andys whilst exploring, so so glad we went in for lunch. Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I had the kebab which was gorgeous. Donner meat was perfect, not overly greasy and oily like a lot of places. My partner had the chicken and battered chips (of which I stole quite a bit from him) . Just passing through on the canal, and Andy's was recommended by a local. Very good value, excellent fish, and tasty well cooked chips. Friendly and efficient staff. What more can you ask for from a chip shop.
