Id consider this a hidden gem. Stayed here overnight in May as was working in Bham the next day. Old fashioned homely pub. Felt seriously chilled and at home as soon as I walked in. Food was INCREDIBLE. No joke. Room was old and a bit outdated but I think it just added to the charm and for the price I was never looking for "posh". Went yesterday with two friends for sunday lunch (carvery) Absolutely fantastic. The service was impeccable, food, delicious and fresh. 3 meals & drinks for less than £40 we were also very impressed with the decor & cleanliness of the place.
