We stumbled across this place today on a driving tour of the area. The tea and savory scones were amazing. And the ladies running the place were very nice. It was a quenesstial English experience.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch and were delighted with the atmosphere and very friendly reception. The monk fish tails I had were delicious and cooked to perfection. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the wood fired pizza. We will go back next time we are in the area.

This hotel has a great dining area in the bar. They serve better flat whites than many chain coffee shops & the coffee comes with a biscuit or piece of chocolate brownie. On cold, rainy days there's a great fire blazing & I enjoy my coffee & a book in front of the fireplace. Lovely staff as well. It's situated in the chocolate box pretty village of Amberley.
