A firm part of my childhood,I lived opposite for many years, and used to play along with the quiz which I could hear clearly from my bedroom. Have been in as an adult too, nice atmosphere and fab little outdoor bit, if you're quiet enough you can hear the sea;)

Friendly welcome in this unpretentious little pub. Visited with partner and her mum pretty much lost with nowhere to go on a blustery spring afternoon. The public bar was heaving with life whilst we sat in the saloon which was quiet as a grave.
