My wife, dog and I went in for some food on Sunday but didn’t fancy a full on roast dinner.The staff made us aware that the head chef was off ill so they were trying to just stick to Sunday roasts for the day.However, when we’d said we just fancied something from the main menu, they offered us a few choices when they didn’t have to. The Thatched House Pub in Felpham, under the new management of Landlady Stella and Chef Ross, has made a delightful comeback. I recommend their flavorful Thai Red curry and commend the homemade minted lamb and halloumi burger, served with finesse alongside a rocket salad, Greek yogurt, and a red onion chutney. Visited on the off chance for a quick lunch on a Saturday afternoon and was not disappointed. The staff very welcoming friendly and efficient. I ordered one of the burgers from a good choice on the menu and my daughter, who wasn’t overly hungry, decided to have 2 starters of the calamari and halloumi fries. Everything cooked perfectly and was very tasty. Will definitely return.
