It is an average pub, nothing surprising nothing disappointing. I guess it would be good to watch a game, the service is decent and it is great for waiting if your train is delayed or gets cancelled (just 2mins from station).
Interesting when told by bar staff that there was a no hat policy, honestly. A middle aged woman in a straw sun hat walking into pub from quite a hot day yesterday 23/08/23 at lunchtime. Can understand baseball caps at evening times. We won’t be back as it seemed unfriendly place to visit.

We decided to go for a "Steak Night" while our kitchen is being installed.Well, we are so glad we went and we'll be back. The steak was succulent, tender, tasty and cooked as we requested ?We often go into this pub for a drink, Tayto Crisps and Irish sports as it is local to us and it's a friendly, clean, social pub.Next to the railway station and bus depot so worth the journey or park nearby. Just try it and you'll realise what you've been missing.
