Came to Dukes Head today. Come here often for evening drinks or dinner and it’s always brilliant. The food is great and staff excellent. Today I came to have a change of scenery as work from home. Lovely to have some background music, open fires and fab coffee and lunch. The duck noodle salad is AMAZING!! And nice coffee and sneaky wine too. My Labrador enjoyed being with me in the bar and the biscuits staff gave her too. Fabulous place

Today was the second time I’ve popped into the Dukes Head for lunch in the last two weeks after not being for years and on both visits, the food and staff were lovely. I’m unable to have dairy at the moment so went for the vegan Nourish Boul and the great thing about this menu option, is that it has lots of ‘add on’ options so I added the beef fillet and it was amazing! Popped in on Saturday for lunch. Loved the decor, it felt so homely, especially with the fires lit. The toilets were clean and tidy and the flowers were really pretty, also loved the monkey wallpaper. I had the chicken burger which was really nice, however I wasn't a fan of the lettuce being mixed in with the burger sauce, I'd rather have a slice of lettuce and then the burger sauce, but still super tasty.
