Family lunch was perfect, Steaks Turkey roast veg curry and truly the best fish and chips I've ever had. I don't say that lightly as I've had a few from all over the country.The two ladies that waited on our table were delightful and extremely informative, particularly with reference to food allergies. Great system on the digital menu.My only tiny negative was the sticky ginger pudding wasn't very sticky not very gingery and more custard needed.Thanks to all the team.Vegetarian...read full review

A fantastic pub on the edge of a beautiful park.The food was super, as were the drinks and being sat in a wonderfully styled restaurant next to a nice warm fire was a great experience on a cold day.

Travelled from Winchester to meet with family for lunch, what a lovely place, amazing tentative staff, (even the Chelsea supporter) ? where nothing was too much trouble, an absolute top pub, will definitely visit again when visiting ?Vegetarian options: Wife said the nut roast was very tasty
