My husband is a full time wheelchair user and there were a couple of things that could be improved. Firstly, the car park was on quite an incline and my husband wouldn't have been able to push up to it (to be fair the staff were very good in helping him up there, but that isn't the point really) there should be parking for the disabled (that is, wheelchair users) on the flat. All in all great place.. Not much in the area.. Like the room I got this time.. Downside was the view but hey was spacious, clean and warm as got an accessible room, thought it would not be good but so no complains from me.. Parking is £12.50 presume is per day ?.. Not sure only stayed one night..

Everything was fine until I met the Deputy Mgr at checkout who refused to put the breakfast charge on account as the booking said Meal Allowance and not specifically breakfast. The guy has a serious attitude problem. I live in IHG hotels during the week and I’m a Diamond Elite member with 1.3 million points so I know the systems well and I’ve never had this issue before, or come across this attitude. Definitely do not recommend this hotel.
