While it's a shame the owners don't think curtains would warm it up and they never shut the outer doors to buffer the heat which was what they were made for. This pub is a lovely local and Cheryl deserves credit for that. Fab local.
I don't visit this pub very often but when I do I've always found that the ales offered are good and the food is average but reasonably priced. Its not the liveliest of pubs but it's ideal if you want to go somewhere quiet for a chat. It's had a couple of facelifts over the years but still doesn't have the character of some of the others in Crawley.

We visited this Pub despite reading some concerning previous reviews. However we are pleased to say all our four Sunday Roasts were excellent. Food was hot, plentiful and tasty. Very reasonably priced. With many thanks Sue and friends.
