I came at a day when they did not have enough staff. Al the empty tables with rubbish and I had to throw it in the bin myself before I could sit down comfortably. I cleaned the table with my own wipes. Waited for 15+ minutes in line for one drink and only three people in front of me. But my drink was super!
A visit to a coffee should be a treat in my mind; to justify the sit down, brief time to oneself and to justify the cost of the coffee. This afternoonâs visit to Caffè Nero in Haywards Heath was extremely disappointing and I am just pleased that I hadnât invited a friend or family member to join me. I would have been embarrassed. OK, this is a chain so not expecting anything OTT, but the staff were happy and willing to talk, the coffee was as normal very good, would say better than Costa, and the cakes are just very, very good better than most!
