The food was tasty and enjoyable. However it is expensive and the portions are small. The restaurant and the take away are in the same room so if you are by the door you will get people coming in to order food while you eat.
The welcome received by my wife and I at this restaurant was very warm and I noticed the maître was very attentive at the way other customers were greeted. In my opinion the welcome is very much part of the eating experience . I ordered my old favourite, chicken tikka masala and my wife had lamb rogan josh, accompanied by pilau rice and a Peshwari nan, all washed down with a large bottle of Cobra.
