126C High St, Hurstpierpoint, HassocksWe visited VPK on 22.8.2025 for an early dinner to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We were greeted with such a warm welcome and lots of smiles from the staff. We had booked a table for 2 adults and a child and we had a 6 month old in a pushchair. The team re-jigged the table moving chairs away from the table to accommodate the pushchair. The service was so smooth. We then ordered our food and the waiter was very friendly and professional and treated us like he really cared informing us well with things on the menu including informing us about the dessert which was included with the children’s menu. We only stayed for one course as we had two very tired children and our waiter offered for us to take home the children’s dessert, such a nice touch. Our waiter had noticed we had left something on the table so quickly found us outside shortly after we left and handed it to us. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very buzzy and the decor was tastefully done. It was so refreshing to experience such good customer service. This level of service is very hard to find these days so thank you to the team for making it such a memorable experience. We will definitely be back!!!

Bridge House, Station Approach, HassocksMy son and daughter in law had there wedding reception here just over a week ago .also i had my wedding breakfast and reception 12 years ago .absolutely fantastic place can't fought it all staff are amazing so lovely. Highly recommend to hire .thank you for everything

Keymer Rd, Keymer, HassocksWe had our wedding reception here and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Simon and Josie were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Communication was always easy, and they made sure we had everything we asked for, and more. They truly went above and beyond to make our day special.
Josie did an amazing job decorating the pub for us, it looked beautiful and created the perfect atmosphere for our reception. A huge shout out to the chef as well, the buffet was brilliant and they were very accommodating with the options we wanted.
The bar staff were also excellent all evening, friendly, efficient, and helped everything run smoothly.
It was also their wedding anniversary on the same day, and despite that they were still there working hard to make sure our reception went perfectly, which we really appreciated.
The pub itself is beautiful, the service was incredible, and everything was very affordable and great value for money. We truly couldn’t have done it without them and are so grateful for all the effort they put in.
Thank you again for helping make our wedding reception such a wonderful and memorable celebration.

14 Orion Parade, HassocksI called into the Corner Cafe for a quick coffee recently and found the staff present & friendly. The coffee was nice and the place was clean, tidy & inviting. Maybe I'll try a breakfast next time I'm in Hassocks.

122 High St, Hurstpierpoint, HassocksNupur is part of a small family group of restaurants in the Mid Sussex area, and I've visited each of them on different occasions and every time the experience has been fantastic. The staff are really friendly and are always on hand to help and have a chat even when they're working flat out, which is most of the time. I've had the pleasure to eat in at the Hurstpierpoint restaurant as well as have takeaways and it's always superb.

Grand Ave, HassocksWent for vegan Sunday roast which was nice but looked much smaller than the non-vegan ones which come with a giant Yorkshire pudding. Disappointing that they don't do vegan Yorkshire puddings or add more vegetables to the vegan plates.
Good service and atmosphere but considering the size of the dish, it seemed a bit overpriced.
