Oscars produces the best fish and chips ever tasted. Now there’s a bold statement to make! For us it’s true. The fish is always cooked to order by fish fryers that know their game. If your really hungry try the large cod, it hangs over the plate each end. Crispy batter and large flakes of cod make for a most wonderful meal. There are two types of fish and chips. Greasy or dry. Here you get dry. I appreciate some people like it this way but we prefer greasy. Not their fault. The sit down area is clean and the staff friendly. The food is well priced as well but on this occasion it wasnt us. But it was busy, so people like it this way. Until you try you dont know,

Oscar’s is a fish and chip shop opposite the River Arun in Littlehampton. It offers both take away and eat in fish and chips, so it gets very busy at times. Other foods are available too, all at value for money prices. The restaurant is kept immaculately clean and the staffs service is perfect. We had cod and chips. My large cod was enormous, well cooked, tasty and well presented. You need to try it to believe it.
