Hot fresh fish & a huge amount of chips even the small portions are big ? BUT the food can be variable at times! I have had a couple or 3 when the food wasn't up to the usual excellent standard.....These events are rare thankfully - I stopped going here for a few years ago due to not beinp happy with the food......Since returning for the last 18 months or so, back to great tasty hot food & good value so 5 stars from me! ?
I had a big order as we have 9 mouths to feed. They were very accommodating and asked what they wanted for each order. They then put everything into a large box for us. I've added the updated price list

I visit Wick Fryer almost every Friday to buy my plaice and chips, and the plaice is always very big and a small portion of chips suffices for two people, I find. Never had a bad meal or device from there. I usually call up 5 to 10 minutes before I am due to pop in and my fish and chips are usually ready when I get there.
