What a find, everything from the lovely friendly welcome, room large and very clean and everything you could want and more, Hair dryer, robes, tissues etc. The chef and staff are amazing a fantastic full English with good quality ingredients, many locally sourced, tried other cooked options and they were just the same, lovely and tasty. The selection of foods on the breakfast bar were amazing, trays of fresh fruit, cereal's and yogurts and some polish specialities to try too.Served with genuine smiles, asked about you days and suggested places to go to or places to eat.We had a garden room and although it was too cold to eat out but a lovely outlook of the garden. There is also the option as they don't do evening meals to bring back to the Hotel and eat in a designated area and also a lovely idea a Honesty bar, lovely if you wanted a night cap this was very reasonably priced.Almost for got loads of safe free parking just in front of the Hotel, so easy to walk down the road to eat dinner orHad good meals in the India and a wonderful meal in La Banca the Italian.Thank you Damian and all your staff for a wonderful stay, I hope to see you again soon when we are next in your area.We wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anyone and shall do so. You deserve to do well.Sharon and John

Impeccable welcome and service. The chef is outstanding with everything cooked from fresh and delicious. Very dog friendly and sensitive to individual needs. The best welcome and food ever had in a hotel. This is one to return to. Beautiful accessible gardens and every room has their own outdoor seating perfect for sharing the wide range of drinks from the bar.

Lovely 3 night stay. The staff were friendly, and approachable. My room and bed linen/towels were clean/fresh, and the bed comfy. I had 2 dogs with me who were welcomed, and also enjoyed their stay. The breakfasts are lovely. A variety of choice to suit everyone. Would stay there again.

Came for a much needed break. My room was upgraded to one cooler in the heat wave, as I was there for 4 nights. Much appreciated. Lovely firm mattress. Nice breakfast with fresh fruit and variety of breakfast options. The friendliest service! Thank you Barbara for your warmth and welcome. Damon, the owner, keeps everything running well, very relaxed and friendly. It's a very good place to take time out in and I'd definitely return.

Delicious afternoon tea & homemade cake enjoyed here. Worth popping in if you're visiting Selsey. Check website first for times.

Lovely place. The garden is beautiful and the room was exceptionally clean. The lady of the house is doing a phenomenal job at preparing the house for the guests. The bed sheets were immaculate, she showers too and the breakfast was delicious. They had fruit platters, homemade polish pancakes and a menu to choose from for the savoury dishes. Lovely service as well. I might be a bit biased because she reminded me of my mother, but it was a 5 star experience for me. <3

We last came in 2021 under the previous owners while covid restrictions were in place so comparisons are unfair but what was an oasis has become even better. The big change for us is the breakfast. We don't eat a cooked one and usually have a disappointing alternative but here there was a range of delights, including the Polish pancakes. With a bus stop outside for easy access to Chichester, a pleasant beach down the road, and a very beautiful garden this remains a treasure.

My partner and I enjoyed a two night stay at the Coast Yard whilst visiting family in the village. The entire property was very well maintained and clean. Our room was very comfortable and bright which was a theme across the whole place and the staff who are extremely helpful and welcoming. The bar / dining area is really bright and leads out into the gardens which are spacious and well maintained. We only ate for breakfast but this was delicious and they had plenty of options for us. We will definitely look to stay again when we next visit and have already recommended to friends / family. Thanks

We stayed two nights in early June. We loved the spacious room which was number one in the main house. It had a comfortable sofa and bed with lovely bed linen. The breakfast was delicious, including Polish apple pancakes, smoothies and fruit as well as a cooked choice. Bar drinks were also available in the evening and we sat out in the splendid garden for a sundowner. All in all, highly recommended.
