Waves
147 High St, Selsey, ChichesterLooked on Google for a recommendation for breakfast, and headed to Waves. As we had a dog we landed up in the courtyard, rather than the cafe, but excellent. Really friendly staff, great food and amazing coffee.

The Coast Yard at St Andrews Lodge
Chichester Rd, Selsey, ChichesterWhat a find, everything from the lovely friendly welcome, room large and very clean and everything you could want and more, Hair dryer, robes, tissues etc. The chef and staff are amazing a fantastic full English with good quality ingredients, many locally sourced, tried other cooked options and they were just the same, lovely and tasty. The selection of foods on the breakfast bar were amazing, trays of fresh fruit, cereal's and yogurts and some polish specialities to try too.Served with genuine smiles, asked about you days and suggested places to go to or places to eat.We had a garden room and although it was too cold to eat out but a lovely outlook of the garden. There is also the option as they don't do evening meals to bring back to the Hotel and eat in a designated area and also a lovely idea a Honesty bar, lovely if you wanted a night cap this was very reasonably priced.Almost for got loads of safe free parking just in front of the Hotel, so easy to walk down the road to eat dinner orHad good meals in the India and a wonderful meal in La Banca the Italian.Thank you Damian and all your staff for a wonderful stay, I hope to see you again soon when we are next in your area.We wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anyone and shall do so. You deserve to do well.Sharon and John

The local cafe , selsey
141 High St, Selsey, ChichesterVegetarian options: Good veggie alternative to meat breakfasts. They did say though that all is cooked on same griddle so if you're not keen on that avoid. My wife was alright with it and her breakfast was good.

Summer Palace Takeaway
167 High St, Selsey, ChichesterI went in for a takeaway this evening. My partner is coeliac, and the guys in there couldn't have been more helpful. They even switched ingredients so he could still have some of the dishes he wanted. The food was so tasty, it was the nicest Chinese we have had in a long time!

Jabir Indian Takeaway
Beach Rd, Selsey, ChichesterFantastic food at reasonable price. It’s a takeaway so I don’t expect much service. The food is what you want from a takeaway and this is the best sole Indian takeaway in selsey. The menu is excellent and full of variety. The food is always well cooked smells amazing and tastes exactly what you hope for while waiting. The longest wait I’ve experienced is 50 minutes. I usually collect and find there’s always popadoms and salad added.

Penny Lane Shops & Café
High St, Selsey, ChichesterAlthough they’ve faced a few days of closure it doesn’t take away from the brilliance of the food they serve, food was done beautifully and the burgers cooked very well. Generous portion sizes and very very thick and tasty milkshakes I will definitely be returning. Also to note the tables and kitchen are kept quite clean and there was wasn’t much mess on the floor round the crowded tables which is a good sign the place is being looked after well.
