This place deserves to be given a Michelin star. Whilst being completely unpretentious it has quietly become a ‘ reservation only’ place. The extended family service of the staff under Chris Tinker-Taylor is assiduous and extremely friendly, the food is creative, responds to whatever is freshly available and the cooking is fun and , frankly, delicious. The wine list is perfect for fresh seafood and reasonable. Finally the puddings continue in the same vein. We were thrilled.
Brought a friend visiting us who loves fish to lunch here. Our crab crabs were delicious (all crab and no potato as in some places). My husband had the moules which were very fresh and in a lovely sauce. All washed down with a nice rose wine. We sat inside as a very gloomy wet day but the Crabshack has a lovely relaxed, atmosphere and is only yards from where we live. If you like Seafood, then this is your heaven. Right from the friendly and genuine greeting through to the superb food, drink and service this place is superb. My wife rates the crab 10 out of 10 and we will be back many times. Highly recommended.
