We came here to celebrate Christmas Day with our family (14 of us) and we all felt that the meal and service run by Nathan and his team was excellent. I booked this back in September with Nathan and I pointed out that one of us was a celiac sufferer. He was completely re-assuring and said this wasn't a problem for them at all. Like the fact it’s table service, food is of a good quality for the price you pay and there is usually a good 2/3 course offer available too. The hand-pumped ales are lacking and the floor can be sticky, apart from that a good place for a meal. There are always enough staff who are always friendly and helpful too.

Nice lunch. We ordered via the qr code, which took some time, but once done the drinks arrived very quickly and food followed shortly after. Good service and nice food. My mixed grill was great and the small piece of steak cooked exactly as I requested. And the Christmas Ruby ale was excellent.
