We visited cona for their Sunday roast. On attending the restaurant was very busy, we had to wait 30 mins for our table, (we had booked it in advance), and was not informed of this on arrival. The waiter also mentioned on taking our order that desserts can be chosen after main course had been eaten. However when the time came majority of desserts had been sold out. Starters and mains were up to standard. Overall, quite poor service for a restaurant you would expect better from.
My favourite dining place in the UK by far, unmatched for years. Every dish perfectly balanced with flavour and the meat is always the best cut and tender. Yes it might be a little expensive but if you want rich flavours then it costs. Enjoy!

Atmosphere is nice, feels like you are entering a different world all together. Portions are ridiculously small!! I understand fine dining but theres no need to go over board!And they have a 10% service charge but with the service they provide they should have a 10% discount! Not attentive not professional and very slow in the kitchen.Would not return die to portion sizes and service. Food did taste quite good though.
