We decided to go for tea. Had an idea it may be busy with the eat out scheme, so booked. My husband got a really good deal in that he got two courses for £5. Soup and roast dinner. I was only having fajita’s - but since he was having two courses, I decided to do so too. I also got soup. I don’t know how they make their vegetable soup, but I always enjoy it. It is super tasty. Had our Christmas party with friends from my local running club ( eccleshill road runners ) The service was great , the staff were friendly & really looked after us . We had 3 course menu & the food was excellent , good portion sizes & it was also piping hot . Excellent night . Thank you ( Alison Hartley )
1pm on a Sunday and we were the only customers in the place. This might be because a sign outside said "private function" . However our waitress explained this referred to the previous night! We both ordered roast beef which came with a proper Yorkshire pud and a good portion of fresh vegetables along with extra gravy. It was first class and I told the chef how pleased we were.
