Service was excellent, value for money was on the poor side.Crispy chicken was very crispy even after a drive home but seems to lack salt and pepper flavour.Chips also have alot of room for improvement, also had a very sparse amount of salt and pepper flavour or veg in them for the money(a few bits of the outer skin of an onion and a few bits of carrot).Would probably order again on the merit of the service being very good but my first impressions of the food are mediocre compared...read full review
4 of us ate at Stratus last night after reading some reviews, this unfortunately is not fine dining! Inside is ok, however, two tables put together which were not the same size should not be happening if you try class an establishment as fine dining. It shows a ten course tasting menu for £60, on the face of this is good value if the food is high quality, sadly it is more to do with quantity then quality and taste. A lot of refining needs to be done to make this a lot better....read full review
I loved everything about this restaurant - the relaxed and comfortable yet classy French type setting and wonderful food with a twist. I’ve eaten in many Michelin restaurants in London and so lovely to see something like this in the Halifax area - the chef deserves all of his awards. We will back!
