I believe this was the first real ale bar in brighouse correct me if I am wrong but it attracts a different clientele but that’s always a positive to have plus it’s next to the canal not far from the train station or bus station I think the location is key plus it’s bang on where the market is so the name is just the right thing to have . I think there having a refurb but definitely inside is comfy n welcoming I would highly recommend I believe dog friendly also some good...read full review

Great place. I visited with a friend for the first time in years. We were made to feel very welcome. The venue feels really modern looking like it had been refitted recently. Really nice place, I'll be back again for sure because of the excellent selection of high quality hand pulled beer. To sum up, an amazing cozy friendly venue with fantastic beer.
