The Duke of York is a restaurant known for its excellent service and welcoming atmosphere. On a visit in early June, a group celebrating a 30th birthday found the team to be accommodating and attentive, going above and beyond to meet their needs. The DJ and the atmosphere were praised as being brilliant. Another occasion saw friendly and cheerful staff seating walk-in customers, with delicious food and helpful service. A band was present, setting a good atmosphere for the evening. Later in June, the restaurant was visited for a meal and catch-up, but turned into an enjoyable night of karaoke and disco due to a birthday party. The management and chef were commended for their roles in creating a fabulous night.
