Stylish interior and a brilliant menu. Staff who served us seemed nice as well. Average prices I would say. It was really pleasing to see so many vegetarian and vegan food options on the menu as well. The cakes we had were superb and they sell some very different drinks as well. Would have given them a 5 star rating but it was very smoky and smog filled inside due to all of the cooking and grilling going on. Better ventilation and extraction is needed to improve the air quality...read full review

We were looking for a place to have a light lunch in Halifax town centre, did not want a big meal, but wanted something more than cake and coffee, and wanted to sit inside. We spotted this cafe and decided to try it. You order your food at the counter, which is not clear when you enter, but is indicated on the menu. Nice cafe with friendly staff. Clean and tidy. Food is basic but done well. Jacket potatoes ard huge and you get two fillings and salad for the price. Alcoholic beverages also available. Lots of cakes including gluten free. No fancy avo and sourdough but fine if you just want plain tasty food
