We have been here many times and always good, however we visited this afternoon for drinks and decided to sit outside in the sunshine. On going to the bar we were told someone would come outside and take our order. After 10 minutes nobody came so we left. There were only 3 other people sat outside and 1 small group inside. Very disappointed.

Excellent service staff and food what more could you want ?

Went for sandwiches today, 3 of us, was OK but really not worth what they charge, the pastrami in sour dough was very dry had to put mayonnaise on the sour dough bread to make it better, the flat iron steak was a bit of cubed steak again on dry sour dough bread and the fish coujons were the better of the 3 but came with a large blonde hair in it, they took this off the bill but the waitress was quite sharp and rude. Will go back to "La Luna" from now on , better menu, better atmosphere and better price for your food.

Great quality and sensibly priced meal. Profits go back to the piece hall apparently so a real win win.

The second time visited in a couple of months. It's a very small menu but not perfected for some reason. The restaurant was cold and toilets was missing the basics so it was not a good start. As previously, the majority of food was overcooked and dry, some cood to unfortunately. Bit of a shame as I think it could be so good with the right management ?

Very pleasant atmosphere, excellent food, not too expensive.

Popped in for a cake and a drink after a morning of shopping. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Kids scoffed the cakes so fast I didn’t get chance to take a pic. Lovely though and no problems.

Avoid if you can! Food is horrid and we ordered a bottle of wine which had clearly gone off and we complained, only to be told that’s how it tastes and there was nothing they could do. So I paid and left, full bottle on the table. Probably ended up in the bin. Absolutely abysmal.

Twice since October I've been, it's really disappointing. The belly pork was just plain. Boring. Unseasoned and over done. Staff were great. Cocktails better. 2nd time was at Christmas. I just had scallops and truffle fries. Scallops were so unseasoned. Just looked uncooked. There was two tiny ones. Truffle fries were.. well fries. Staff were forgetting drinks. Only 10 of us and it was early on. I won't be coming again.

Atmosphere lovely but same cannot be said for food. Food overcooked and they didn't have the dishes that we PREORDERED. Staff slow and incompetent. 3 of the drinks we asked for were unavailable.Vegetarian options: Very limited

We called in for coffee mid morning and decided to return for lunch. Fortunately, we booked whilst we were. When we returned, there were no tables free for people to just call in. We had a lovely meal, Roast Pumpkin, Chestnut & Feta Salad, so tasty and something a little different. Despite being so busy, the staff were very polite and efficient, we enjoyed it very much and will definitely return (and book a table)!

Oh dear..!! We have visited the trading rooms before and found it was very good, this time, early evening, we called in for a bite to eat after an optician visit and were very disappointed. I had the peppered pastrami which I had in late summer last year, then it was delicious, nice bread, pickle and salad on the plate, this time the bread was rather hard, no pickle or salad on the plate, the waitress asked if we needed any sauces and went off to get some, did not return, eventually I asked another waiter if he could get me some which he did promptly, the salt cellars on our table and the next one to us were both empty, eventually we got some, bearing in mind there were only a couple of other tables occupied, how can the staff be so lax. My wife had the Tiger prawn bruschetta, the prawns and salad was fine, but the toasted bread was burnt, she did not notice till she was part way through, should not have been served in my opinion, we could have complained but what is the point when part way through a meal. This place has gone downhill in our opinion, and as there are plenty of restaurants in the immediate area we will be giving this place a miss in the future. The only plus side is that I did not leave a service tip. Very disappointed..

The decor was lovely. All the Christmas decorations were still up. It was a little dark though. Service was friendly. Menu really limited if you don’t eat meat. But are not vegan. Nearly every fish option had meat with it. Smoked haddock main very small for the price. But it was delicious. Onion rings but oily.

We visited the Trading Rooms for an annual Christmas family meal out and were very, very disappointed. We preordered food, but the one vegan option was still unavailable on the day - absolutely shocking. The chicken dishes were dry and overcooked, the burgers unappealing. Service was slow even though it was not particularly busy. (Staff were friendly when you could get their attention, though). We came here two years ago and it felt so special back then, so we were really looking forward to returning, so imagine our disappointment ? . We decided to go elsewhere for dessert, and we'll be having next year's family Christmas meal somewhere else.
