Pubs • “We stayed close by The Robin Hood Inn a few days ago and decided to call in for food one evening. I rang just to confirm that our two well behaved labradors would be welcome before we left, they were made very welcome. The staff was lovely and the food very nice, we both ordered the salmon which was cooked perfectly and was so nice. I can highly recommend a visit lovely pub.”

Pubs • “Lovely place to meet up with my sisters for lunch , one lives quiet near to the Navigation. Good food, staff were very friendly and the most important thing for me is that they welcomed dogs. Will definitely be going again next time I'm visiting Yorkshire.”

The food was delicious ( especially the “special” pork belly with two veg ) and our friends enjoyed their fish dishes ( haddock and chips and a tasty trout dish) . There was a good wine list as well. On the minus side, we had to wait 35 minutes for our main course and since we hadn’t ordered a starter, we were a bit annoyed. Three of us ordered dessert; the winner was the strawberry Eton mess.”

“Great pub in a lovely village. My wife and I have always been made to feel welcome in this pub and the staff have always been great, they also serve Erdinger non-alcoholic which is my preferred choice when driving. Each time we have eaten here the food has been excellent as well. It is our default pub when in the area, highly recommended.”
