My ratings are based on my meal. My partner had the burger and wasn't impressed at it's densely dry consistency and thought the bacon on top tasted a little weird. He's a trained chef and thinks burgers should be succulently tender.I had the prawn and salmon salad which was lovely, it had plenty of ingredients and was very filling. A recent visit here for midweek tea . Lots of good reviews and so we looked forward to trying this pub. Ample parking and a dog friendly pub, which was a bonus. Wheelchair access would be possible. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Sadly the atmosphere was somewhat flat due to lack of people in the pub. After a day in Manchester we decided to drive back the scenic route and try find an independent quality pub for food. We were super lucky to find the Beehive, it’s a beautiful pub in a stunning peaceful rural location, proper homemade food and big portions… my mum would get small adults roast dinner next time.
