Myself and my Wife went out for a drive to Hebden Bridge and decided to drive off the beaten track. Very much in the mood for some decent pub grub, we stopped here and we were not disappointed. We opted for sandwiches, a bowl of chips, a pint and a soft drink. Under £20 and the food was amazing. The sandwiches were full, tasty and filling, proper chips, onion rings and coleslaw as a garnish. The people running it are friendly and helpful and the amenities are good and clean. One downside, literally, is the camping fields on a bit of a slope but there are enough flats bits. I didn't have any problems anyway

Operated sensible covid-19 rules. Nice welcome, good service, we had a couple of pints of the Wainright and sat out in the tent cos it was a nice warm day (and we had sandwiches... We were hiking! ) .I don't come here too often but I am sure there was always a mind the step sign on the toilet door. The Covid 19, one at a time sign obscured the mind the step sign. So I tripped over the step... I probably usually did anyway.
