Wow, I have a lot to say about the beehive pub Inn. First of all, the welcome from the new owners, friendly, polite, and extremely welcoming. Secondly the food is Michelin star quality. Absolutely outstanding flavour, well presented hot and most of all the quality, this food has been made with love. And third, my dog was welcome too, a nice little area within the pub that is pet friendly where we could relax and enjoy a nice cold pint before we set back off on our walk. Good luck in your new venture and we will definitely be returning again soon.

We came here the week the new owners have taken over for a family meal. We had an excellent meal, my partner had the beef baguette, my son the chicken nuggets and I had the beehive burger. Really delicious and fresh, could not fault it. The staff were super friendly and hospitable. We will definitely be back for another meal. Our new favourite spot!

My ratings are based on my meal. My partner had the burger and wasn't impressed at it's densely dry consistency and thought the bacon on top tasted a little weird. He's a trained chef and thinks burgers should be succulently tender.I had the prawn and salmon salad which was lovely, it had plenty of ingredients and was very filling. Our friend had the lasagne which she said was very tasty. The wine was a good quality and wasn't overly priced.Vegetarian options: They had a selectionParking: Room for around 25 cars.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room inside pub and there's a garden.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide easy access

Read some reviews that talk about this place doing the best Sunday dinner they’ve ever had so we booked in. Honestly the most underwhelming roast I’ve ever had - the meat was bordering on being grey (turkey for me and beef for my partner), Yorkshire puddings were tough as boot leather, and the veg selection and portion size were disappointing too. It really gave the vibes of the dinners my Nan used to get served in the care home £40 for 2 dinners and 2 drinks really didn’t feel worth it when no one came back to ask if everything was okay either. Such a shame as the pub grub that was coming out looked good, and the location and pub its self has potential to be lovely. Won’t be retuning.
