Did a delivery in the village and just spotted this place on the way back to the Motorway to head home down South.What a lovely chippy, the 2 ladies that served me were so nice and the freshly cooked food was delicious.Now I know where it is I'll certainly be back on my travels up North.
Always cooked from fresh and delicious there is a choice of cod and haddock in different sizes to suit everyone. Kids meals available not just fish and chips. Lots of other choices like chicken and sausage.Kid-friendliness: Kids meals available

I’ve just visited The Blue Clam since the new owners have taken over , and I can say I wasn’t disappointed the fish was really nice . The chips were really nice and crispy . I found the staff very friendly and chatty . The whole shop looked spotless .They definitely take pride in their hygiene standard’s . I will definitely be returning on a regular basis now for quality Fish&Chips .
