What a quaint, relaxed and beautiful inn this place is! The staff, drink and food were top notch, and our room was fantastic as well. Very clean, welcoming and the mattress was very comfortable.The Alma Inn is incredibly dog friendly, and, for an extra small price, some of the rooms allow for dogs to stay overnight with you too. New Years Eve meal with my lovely wife and Jack Russell Stanley. I had the roast beef dinner, excellent food, Diana Smoked chicken and chorizo gnocchi something different on a pub menu made a welcome change The guy who looked after us was amazing he had other areas to serve but was very efficient and very friendly, he worked really hard.It was very unusual for me a dessert lemon tart with a raspberry sorbet, Diana had a Cointreau coffee which just rounded off an excellent night...read full review

What a place - the staff were excellent, the evening meal was outstanding, the room was beautifully decorated and the breakfast was one of the best we've eaten.Will defo be staying again !!!
