Best beef salad sandwich ever. Currant tea cakes lovely. Pork pie meat was a bit too bacony/fatty for me. Curd tart too rich for me and ..strange. Could have been sour or ... was it cinnamon or both?
I go down to Dale Bakery every Saturday morning for our currant teacakes the best in the area , the stay fresh for six days. The service is first class and they have some wonderful cakes.

Amazing bakery! We loved popping in while we spent a week in Denby dale. Gorgeous bakes, fantastic cakes, my son was spoilt for choice! Friendly helpful staff who remembered us (due to my husbands nut allergy). Highly recommended, will be returning next time we visit family .
