Great compact traditional fish & chip shop opposite Huddersfield Market. Lovely food all round, fish is quality and decent portion even the small size. Both fish and chips are always crispy without excess fat, fried fresh. They serve nice sides as well, tasty curry sauce, mushy peas etc. All really friendly staff, regards to Abdul who’s a top bloke. The food served here is probably the tastiest fast food in the local area and in Huddersfield the staff, led by Abdul, are all friendly and treat you like royalty. Sharky has 2 outlets, one at the outdoor market on Byram street, dine inside delivery or takeaway. The other at the top of Southfield Road - Almondbury, takeaway or delivery. I recently went in n had fish cakes chips and curry sauce. Best chippy food I've had in years. I got them to cook me 6 more fishcakes to take home for me n my better half and she loved them too. Amazing food. Lovely staff and it's a great atmosphere in the restaurant to enjoy a quiet meal. Also the prices are very reasonable. This place is the best in Huddersfield at what it does. Highly recommend ?
