It's an iconic Huddersfield pub and our local for drinks. The food is pub grub but not many healthy vegetarian options. Beer garden is legendary on a summers day. Give this place a try as it's part of the towns heritageVegetarian options: limited

Well! All I can say is amazing well that’s how it was!! The food is out of this world, every different aspect of the food just lit my taste buds up. Honestly all my group have said that it’s the best tasting carvery and we shall travel the 1h 23mins to come back as it’s that nice! Really is one of the best meals I have ever eaten and I am hard to impress!! And the staff just seem to have time to chat even though they are busy! Warm welcoming and best food deffo worth a visit.

We stopped her in the motorhome for something to eat and drink. However Thursday is quiz night so we decided to join in. We had a lovely night.The food was really good and so many options and value for money, but it was the staff that made it special. Polite friendly helpful such nice people.It’s a really good motorhome stopover and it’s on my list of places I intend to return to.
