We’ve dined here several times over the years. It’s a lovely, independent restaurant with a great menu and is consistently excellent. We’re very lucky to have such a hidden gem within walking distance of our home. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.
Woke up today and really didn’t feel like cooking, I asked on my insta for local Sunday lunch recommendations & this place came up a few times. We arrived at 2:30pm having tried to call ahead but being unable to get through. Waited in the bar area and was then greeted by the owner (I think). Asked if they had a table for 2 but acknowledged I was pushing my luck at this time on a busy sunday! A hidden gem and another Sunday breakfast venue for us! (not many options left). The full English was a good size but not too much and the eggs Benedict was lovely. Everything was nicely presented. The coffee was good too. Look forward to trying out the lunches and evening meals sometime.
