Superb homely roadside pub with traditional style and real log fires. Nice, well kept real ales served by the very friendly and helpful yound lady behind the bar. Locals welcoming friendly also. Overall a very good place to visit and hopefully make a return. ???

Just want to add her that when visiting with my gran from the local care home 24/09/23 was met with an incredibly thoughtfull bar maid, and when gran got cold and unfortunately there wasn't wheel chair access the locals got together and got my gran in and out can't ask for a better atmosphere and whole round wholesome pub
