“We were served by the brilliant Mandy who put up with our mad humour and arguments over who was paying. Food was delicious, especially the sticky toffee pudding, atmosphere very pleasant and we had booked a table at only 30mins notice but were still catered for. Definitely recommend!”

“Queens head was our local on our stay in Burley, staff and James the manager were so friendly and attentive. Loved chatting to them, they made us feel so welcome. All food was good and Sunday roast was amazing”

“The pub is under brand new management, so were offering a temporary limited menu, still plenty of choice, and beautifully cooked and presented by Chris, the new landlord. We were a group of six, we all enjoyed the lunches we had.
The new landlord and landlady were wonderful, welcoming, couldn't do enough for us. We have booked lunch there again in two weeks time. Looking forward to seeing the pub go from strength to strength in the weeks to come.
