We stayed overnight at the Black Hat as it was centrally located and had good reviews and good value. The standard of the room exceeded our expectations of a pub accomodation in terms of being modern, quality finish, warm and quiet and we slept really well. Pub landlord Tony and staff were welcoming, including resident pub dog Frodo. Great generous breakfast that set us up for the day. We have just returned from an excellent overnight stay, I can’t recommend this place enough the room was spotless and the staff went above and beyond to support us with a quick turnaround for a wedding. They were so friendly and helpful, making our stay an enjoyable experience. Many thanks ?
