Fantastic pies! I had the steak pie for lunch today. Packed with tender beef and incredibly tasty. The staff were as attentive as always, despite it being a full Friday lunch crowd, making for a lovely mid-walk pit stop. Highly recommend eating at The Hermit!
Astonishingly good!I don't have a generally great opinion of pub food because it can often over promise and undeliver as part of large chains. This one is very different.It is community owned and situated on the edge of Baildon Moor in a stunning location.Service was excellent. A large team of young staff working effectively.The food wow. Well what more can I say than āthe best beef pie everā and Iāve had more than a few in my 52 years on this planet. Absolutely love this pub, the staff are so friendly and the service is excellent. Thereās always a fine selection of beers and a very warm welcome especially from Jack.
