I'm a Yorkshire man living in Nottinghamshire. My family live in the Knottingley / Pontefract area. The Dishy Fish Knottingley is our go to place to eat fish and chips. They are lovely, could the experience be better? Yes it can! Yes it is! Yorkshire fish cakes, slices of a large potato with fish in-between then battered and fried to perfection. Holy moley. The chopped onion in vinegar is a lovely touch too. Dishy Fish staff are fabulous, chatty, smiling and helpful. Well done...read full review
Not my local area but we nipped in on the way home for a chip barm. They asked if we wanted scraps and had no idea what they meant but just rolled with it and it was the best life decision we ever made because it was amazing! Portion was bigger than my head too. Will be going back next time were in the area!
