It's taken three attempts to have a meal at Black Market. The first one was cancelled due to Covid and the second due to them not having any staff.Was the wait worth it? We have visited Black market several times, living only a few minutes away. The food is excellent; the prices are on the high side, considering portion size, and service is excellent. Our last two visits have been marred by noisy women taking photos of everything that seems to take their fancy and screeching OMG! every few minutes. Every dish we had (which made up 75% of the menu) was delicious - particularly the salt fish fritters and coffee sticky toffee pudding. Nice atmosphere for friends or couples to chat, which is important as the service is on the slow side. The food is definitely worth the wait!
