Kalabash is great, especially if you want to sit down and relax in a good environment. Caribbean takeaways are generally quite rowdy and 'bantery'....Kalabash is quite reserved and attracts a slightly more refined customer. Parking isn't too bad also if you know the side streets.
Cute place. Seemed like it's a family run business and is frequented by family and friends of the owners which was nice.We ordered the jerk chicken and fried plantain & aubergine meals. I really loved the fried dumplings and the fried plantain, however we were a little disappointed overall as we thought there would be more flavour, but maybe we're used to westernised Caribbean food? Anyway for the price (5-6 pounds a plate) we were still very happy and we even got an extra side...read full review

My absolutely favourite eating place in Leeds. Discovered it a few years ago. Lovely homely atmosphere, friendly and fab food!Vegetarian options: Vegan is popular in my family and there are some options even more would be great
