Great pub, atmospheric with nice brass, wood and leather detail. Good range of beers. Come here every time I'm in Leeds. However, every time I come here, there are hardly any staff and they are all incredibly grumpy. It would be nice if there was some hospitality. It doesn't take much and it would be perfect
A classic traditional style Thornebridge pub near the station in an impressive two-storey venue, previously a TSB bank. It was very busy on the evening we visited, mid-week, but managed to find seats in the snug with a charming stained-glass window. There is a full mahogany bar and cosy leather sofas. A range of Thornebridge beers on cask and keg plus a selection of real ales. The old bank vault is on the lower level where the toilets are located. Prices a bit high but good atmosphere.

Good pub if you like the classic British pub with good cask ales, booths to sit in and polished wood.Not a great selection of craft beers or interesting styles though for those inclined that way (myself included)
