Great pub. It's really what a pub should be. Warm and welcoming with a good selection of drinks and fantastic food. It's a cosy pub with a lovely fire. Visited a few weeks ago with a couple of friends and our dogs for food and a few drinks. Our visit today was for Mother's day and they had no trouble serving some really lovely food during a busy service. There's a farmer's market coming up and live bands planned. Edit a few years later. This place is now awesome! They've reintroduced the proper fire and the food is amazing.Nice ish pub, but the food has gone downhill unfortunately. It gets served quicker, but then you may not want to eat it..

Been a few times now, massive portions, very tasty and well cooked as well as reasonably priced and great service. Dogs allowed also, not a problem for me but if you're not a pooch lover maybe not your thing
