Great place, seemingly a little overlooked as people don't realise how good it is! Lovely staff, great pub food, well cooked and presented and very reasonable prices! Have eaten several different meals here and all faultless. Will be back at every opportunity.
This is a really nice pub near the heart of the city. Frontage looks great and on entering you are greeted with a warm, clean and tidy traditional styled pub. I had a pint of the Timothy Taylor, delicious and well kept.

The food in this place is really good, spicy and flavourful- I was really pleasantly surprised. My husband had the burger with Stilton, mushroom and garlic and I had three small plates. The nachos were the best I’ve ever had, the chicken wings were huge and flavourful and the prawns in a tandoori sauce were gorgeous. I would highly recommend.
