Carvery was good quality and decent size portion. Small mixed grill and hunters chicken eaten by my companions, reported to be tasty well cooked. A good place for basic pub food.Parking: Reasonable sized car park with accessible parking spaces near the entrance.
Dined here this week. Had only just opened when we arrived at 1pm as they had been having some maintenance done. Hence the carvery wasn’t laid out yet. I say this as there was no excuse for food not being piping hot— ie, it hadn’t been sitting under the lamps for ages. Food was ok but luke warm at best. Pointed this out to the perky boss lady on duty — who was otherwise charm personified — but she just said it had all been temperature checked and it was fine. Stuffing...read full review
