King St, NormantonHave been a weekly customer for a few months and can honestly say ive never had a better chippy especially their curry sauce. The atmosphere and staff in there are absolutely amazing and making everyone feel so welcome. Fastest service with all freshly made food with very reasonable prices. Will be back this week for my weekly chippy ☺️

The Robin Hood
10 Church Rd, Altofts, NormantonHad broken down on the road sadly in my black golf. From 7pm to closing time at 10. Hospitality left me speechless as we’re inviting and friendly and very helpful. They had lemonade and Coke and snacks such as chocolate and crisps which didn’t leave me felt out.
Genuine loved pub run by some great people worth a visit.

Poplar Inn, 151 Church Rd, Altofts, NormantonFootball was on large TV screens during my Saturday lunchtime visit. A Purity Brewery real ale was available on the bar, which was in perfect condition. I've visited many times and will do so again!

47 Church Rd, Altofts, NormantonWe love the pub and the first time I went for food it was great so I recommended it to people and returned with a friend. What a disappointing experience. Being a lover of a food photo I was able to compare as the initial dish was so good I repeated the experience. It was unrecognisable from the first dish I had eaten. My friends steak in a ciabatta was so tough and rare he was pulling it out of mouth like a rubber band and the pudding he chose was nothing like described with watery tasteless ice cream. Of more concern was food being ordered and cooked while the chef was standing at the bar on his phone and AFTER he had driven away! Bizarre. Great pub but definitely don’t rely on the food.

119 Altofts Lodge Dr, Altofts, NormantonKelly made an amazing Hot Tub cake for my partners birthday. It was beautifully made and was commented on by everyone who saw it, all said it was incredible. It was also delicious, beautiful light lemon flavour.. it was such a shame to cut it and eat it. 100% recommend Kelly any day of the week. Brilliant

Lovely polite owner.
Tried the pizza, was very crispy, cooked, cheese nice and soft, I enjoyed it.
The donner kebab was tender, not salty like many are. Chips tasted fresh again, in clean oil, not expired oil like majority.
Truly enjoyed the fresh taste.
Would definitely recommend

159 Castleford Rd, NormantonAbsolutely fantastic the food is excellent, it doesn't ouze grease like some other shops. Everything is freshly cooked and you are not waiting too long. The spicy curry sauce is to die for, I buy extra, to take home and freeze it. When it's defrosted it's still the same flavour and consistency. Service is brilliant thanks very much.

Loads of filling on a huge breadcake cooked to perfection with a runny yolk too.
Anyone passing in the vicinity of the shop, do your taste buds a favour and buy one of these bad boys. You won't regret it.

156 Wakefield Rd, Normantonwe ordered the chicken curry, teriyaki tofu and the sweet and sour balls. Absolutely lovely and when we picked it up I couldn't even put it on my lap in the car, the food was that hot! We loved everything and for the price it was more than worth it

166 Wakefield Rd, NormantonOrdered from here for dinner the other night and honestly, everything was spot on. The pizza was really tasty with a nice crispy base, and the kebab was full of flavour. The sauces were great too — not too spicy, just right. It all arrived hot and fresh, and the portion sizes were decent. Definitely a solid takeaway, will be ordering again for sure!
