I went here in a group of 5. The food was sensational. I had the Swordfish starter which was absolutely beautiful! Cooked to perfection. What a Christmas dinner! First year in a long time we decided to treat ourselves to a Christmas day off. Five of us headed to The Carpenter's Arms aka Bar 42 and settled into some cocktails while we waited for our table.Half an hour later we headed upstairs and sat down to a beautifully laid table with tasty little appetizers. It was our first ever visit to this restaurant and I’ve seen some negative reviews on here, but let me tell you honestly it was without fault, the food was delicious and the service as excellent! We’ll have no qualms about dining here again, well done!
